Our Mission.

Mentivity is an inspirational mentoring organisation and alternative educational provision that provides support for young people, schools and parents through 1:1 mentoring and group conversation based learning. Our sole quest is to offer our services to as many young people through our work. In the process we intend to:

  • Transform our mentees through  conversation based learning, inspirational workshops and aspirational visits

  • Incorporate a triangulated approach that promotes a bespoke, structured approach for each individual

  • Enable young people to improve their educational engagement, personal responsibility and accountability

  • Strategically place ourselves centrally between all relative parties i.e the educational institutions, parents/guardians and mentees

  • Provide a holistic service, central to the needs of our clients, young people and varying partner agencies

Our Delivery Programmes.

Mentivity offers a variety of programmes to provide the best possible level of support for our young people. This includes 1-1 & Group Mentoring, Conversation Based Learning, Gender-Specific Mentoring and Physical Education & Sports Coaching.

Mentoring.

Our Mentivity Mentoring Programme is a learning programme that connects mentees and mentors on a meaningful mentoring journey. Mentees set goals and review their progress, supported by their mentor and in-built learning content.

Gender Specific Mentoring.

Mentivity understands the various needs and demands placed on gender groups  via society, the media and their peers. It is important that all our mentees are supported holistically from a personal, cultural and structural standpoint.

Conversation Based Learning.

Conversation Based Learning (informal education) is a general term for education that can occur outside of a structured curriculum. It is an important facet of working with and supporting our youth at Mentivity.

Physical Education & Sports Coaching.

An important aspect in the development of young people and the benefits are far reaching, especially when combined with our mentoring and Conversation Based Learning programmes.
